'You speak Peculiar Things.' Why does Derry find Mr. Lamb's conversation peculiar ? (On the Face of It)

'Things out, shutting things in.' Mr. Lamb's philosophy of life is about maintaining a positive attitude despite adversities. Imagine you are Mr. Lamb and write a motivational speech for students about the importance of staying positive in the face of challenges.

Imagine you are Derry speaking at the funeral of Mr. Lamb. Write a speech expressing what Mr. Lamb meant to you and how he changed your perspective on life.
