Terms of Service

These Terms form an agreement between you and Anquin LLP ("Padhify", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service you accept them. If you do not agree, please do not use Padhify.

We record when you accepted and which version you accepted. If we change these Terms materially we will tell you, and continuing to use Padhify after that means you accept the new version.

You need to be at least 13 years old to have an account. If you are under 18, you may use Padhify only with the agreement of a parent or guardian, who accepts these Terms on your behalf. We ask for your date of birth during sign-up and record your guardian confirmation.

One person, one account. Do not share your login, and do not create an account for someone else without their knowledge.

Padhify is an exam-preparation platform for Indian competitive and board exams, currently including UPSC, CDS, NDA, CAPF, AFCAT, SSC (CGL, CHSL, CPO) and CBSE Class 10 and 12. Depending on your plan and which features are live, it offers:

• previous-year question banks organised by subject and chapter;
• AI-generated answers, explanations and step-by-step logic;
• mock tests, including personalised papers;
• Pady, an AI study coach;
• tools that turn PDFs, images and videos into notes;
• notes, highlights, workspaces and performance analytics.

Features are added, changed and removed as the product develops. Some are in beta or limited release. We may modify or discontinue any feature; if we discontinue something you have paid for, section 11 applies.

Keep your credentials secure and tell us promptly if you think someone else has access. You are responsible for activity under your account. We sign you in on one device at a time; signing in elsewhere ends the previous session.

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. It is deactivated immediately and permanently deleted after 30 days; signing back in during that window restores it.

Do not:

• scrape, crawl, bulk-download or systematically copy questions, answers or any other content, or use bots or automated tools against the service;
• resell, redistribute or publish our content, or use it to build a competing product or a question bank of your own;
• share your account, or circumvent credit limits, rate limits or paywalls;
• attempt to break, probe or overload our systems, or access data that is not yours;
• upload malware, illegal material, or content that infringes someone else's rights;
• harass anyone, or misuse Pady to generate abusive, illegal or harmful content;
• misrepresent AI output as your own original work where that would break your school's or exam body's rules.

We enforce these limits automatically. Scraping and abuse detection can rate-limit, suspend or permanently ban an account. Our full Acceptable Use Policy explains this in more detail.

Exam questions

Previous-year question papers are the work of the examination bodies that set them, including UPSC, SSC, CBSE and the Ministry of Defence. Padhify does not claim ownership of those questions. We reproduce them for the purpose of private study, teaching and research, organised by subject and chapter to make them useful. All trademarks and exam names belong to their respective owners.

Padhify is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any examination body or government authority. If you are a rights holder and believe content should be removed, our Copyright & Takedown Policy tells you how to request that, and we will act on valid requests.

Our content

Everything else belongs to Anquin LLP. This includes the platform itself, our chapter classification and tagging, our written explanations, AI-generated mock questions, analytics, design and code. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use it for your own exam preparation. That licence ends when your account does.

Your content

Your notes, uploads and messages remain yours. You grant us the licence we need to operate the service, which is to store your content, display it back to you, and process it through our AI providers to produce the output you asked for. We do not use your content to train AI models and we do not publish it. Delete your account and it goes with it.

Only upload material you have the right to upload. Do not upload copyrighted books or paid course material you do not own the rights to.

AI output

You may use AI answers and notes Padhify generates for you for your own study. AI output is not guaranteed to be original or unique. Other users asking similar questions may receive similar answers.

Padhify's AI features use third-party models and can be wrong, incomplete or out of date. They are a study aid, not an authority. Always verify against official syllabi, textbooks and the exam body's own materials before relying on anything for your exam.

You are responsible for how you use AI output, including complying with your school's, college's or exam body's rules on AI assistance and academic honesty. Our AI Policy sets out the details.

AI features consume credits. Every plan, including the free plan, has a daily credit allowance that resets each day, and a monthly ceiling. Current allowances and what each action costs are shown on the Plans page.

• Credits have no cash value, cannot be transferred, sold or exchanged, and are not refundable on their own.
• Unused daily credits do not roll over.
• Bonus credits from referrals or promotions are a promotional benefit and may expire or be withdrawn if obtained in breach of these Terms.
• We may change plan pricing and credit allowances. Changes to a plan you are already paying for take effect at your next renewal, and we will tell you first.

Payments are processed by Razorpay. We never see or store your card number, CVV or UPI PIN. Prices are in Indian Rupees and, unless stated otherwise, are inclusive of applicable taxes. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel, and you can cancel at any time from your billing settings. Cancelling stops future charges; your plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for.

Refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

Paid plans are not available yet. Padhify is free while in beta, so this section describes how billing will work rather than anything you are charged for today. It takes effect when paid plans go live.

Our referral programme has its own terms, which form part of this agreement. See Referral Program Terms. Self-referrals, duplicate accounts and fraudulent sign-ups earn nothing and may result in suspension.

Padhify does not guarantee any exam result, score, rank or selection. Your outcome depends on your own preparation and many factors outside our control. Any statistics, sample scores or illustrative content on the site are not a promise of what you will achieve.

Exam dates, patterns, eligibility criteria and syllabi are set by the examining bodies and are revised from time to time. We make reasonable efforts to keep the exam information on Padhify current, but it may not always reflect the most recent official notification. Before you rely on any such detail, confirm it against the official website of the relevant examination body.

Padhify is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free service. We may suspend access for maintenance, or where we need to protect the platform or comply with the law. Some features are in beta and may behave unpredictably.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you break these Terms, abuse the service, or use it in a way that harms other users or us. The most common causes are scraping and credit abuse, which our systems detect automatically.

Where it is reasonable to do so we will warn you first and give you a chance to fix the problem. Serious cases (fraud, attacks on the platform, illegal content) may be actioned immediately. If you believe your account was suspended in error, email support@padhify.com and we will review it.

If we terminate a paid account without cause, we will refund the unused portion of your current billing period. If we terminate it because you broke these Terms, we are not obliged to refund anything.

To the extent the law allows, Anquin LLP is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, including lost opportunity, lost exam attempts, lost rank, or loss of data beyond our reasonable control.

Where we are liable, our total liability to you for all claims in any twelve-month period is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in that period, or ₹1,000.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud, or anything under India's Consumer Protection Act, 2019 that cannot be contracted out of. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.

If your misuse of Padhify causes a third party to bring a claim against us, for example by uploading infringing material, scraping our content, or breaching these Terms, you agree to cover the reasonable costs and damages that result, to the extent they arise from what you did.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Noida, Uttar Pradesh have exclusive jurisdiction, except that if you are a consumer you may also bring proceedings in the consumer forum where you live.

Before starting formal proceedings, please contact us. Most issues are resolved quickly by email. Complaints can be escalated to our Grievance Officer via the Contact page.

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply. If we do not enforce a right immediately, we do not lose it. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms; we may transfer ours if our business is acquired.

Neither party is liable for failures caused by events beyond reasonable control, including network or provider outages, natural events, or government action.

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, Acceptable Use Policy, AI Policy and Referral Terms, are the whole agreement between us.
