These rules sit alongside our Terms of Service. They set out what counts as misuse, what our automated systems do about it, and how to appeal if we get it wrong.
1. The principle
Padhify is for students preparing for their own exams. These rules exist because attempts to bulk-extract our content or abuse free AI credits degrade the service, and raise its cost, for everyone else.
2. What is not allowed
Extracting content
- Scraping, crawling or bulk-downloading questions, answers, explanations or papers.
- Using bots, scripts, headless browsers or automation tools against the service.
- Systematically copying content by hand at a scale no individual would study at.
- Republishing, reselling or redistributing our content, or using it to build a competing question bank or product.
Abusing accounts and limits
- Sharing an account, or selling access to one.
- Creating multiple accounts to get around credit limits or to farm referral bonuses.
- Working around rate limits, credit checks or paywalls by any technical means.
Attacking the platform
- Probing for vulnerabilities without permission, or exploiting one you find.
- Accessing data that is not yours, or trying to.
- Overloading our systems, or interfering with anyone else's use of the service.
Harmful content and behaviour
- Uploading malware, illegal material, or content that infringes someone else's rights.
- Harassing, threatening or impersonating anyone.
- Using Pady to generate illegal, hateful or abusive material, or to bypass its safety limits.
- Using Padhify during an exam or assessment where outside help is not permitted.
3. How we enforce this
Enforcement is largely automatic. We may restrict, suspend or terminate access to the service or to particular features. We do not publish our thresholds.
These limits target automated collection of our content, not ordinary study.
Serious cases such as fraud, attacks on the platform or illegal content are actioned immediately without a warning.
4. If you think we got it wrong
Automated systems make mistakes. If your account was limited or banned and you believe that was wrong, email support@padhify.com with the email address on your account and what you were doing at the time. You may ask us to review a restriction and we will respond. Where the abuse is confirmed, we may decline to lift it.
If you are unhappy with the outcome, escalate via our Contact page.
5. Security researchers
We welcome genuine security research. Email support@padhify.com before testing anything intrusive. Please do not access, modify or retain other users' data, do not degrade the service for others, and give us reasonable time to fix an issue before disclosing it. We will not pursue researchers who follow those rules in good faith.
